The Safety Alert System can be exposed to weather. The circuitry is encapsulated.

MICROPROCESSOR CONTROLLED
The Safety Alert System is a microprocessor controlled G force sensor. As you throttle down or decelerate, the module provides power to the LED.  The processor can handle up to a 5 amp draw from one or two LEDs.

LOW VOLTAGE DRAW
Your battery will never know the difference. The current draw is 170 Milliamps.

DASH INDICATOR LIGHT
You can mount an LED in the dash and attach it to the array wiring to indicate the rear array is working. Circuit fault protection is built in. If installed, the dash LED will blink rapidly to warn you of a problem with the module.

DISTRESS MODE
Should you encounter problems and need help, the module can be put into flashing mode. Using a waterproof, dash mounted on/off switch, you can use the flashing mode to hail a tow boat, an emergency vessel or a fellow boater.
